People and Communities

MC’s collaborative approach is grounded in the benefits created when community members serve as stewards of the wellbeing of their community members.

From work environments to schools and universities to health organizations, MC works with any community organization to halt the negative impacts of trauma on people and the communities they live in. By working with partners on local and global levels, and supporting mindfulness research efforts, MC aims to provide the awareness and life skills needed to close the trauma-stress cycle and give access to success in the most important communities…the ones you live in!

In Arkansas, we’ve supported a new approach to knock down systemic barriers to mindfulness-based practices for mental healthcare—intentional interracial trainings with the availability of fully funded BIPOC scholarships . To empower people of color, MC works with community leaders of all racial backgrounds to commit to mindfulness classes and events that are welcoming and sensitive to the needs of Black, Indigenous People of Color.

Our work focuses on the most miraculous practices to ensure people can thrive together.
